N°40 U-BOAT leather jacket

Created on the model of the original German Kriegsmarine U-boat leather jacket; used by the officers of the German submarines between 1939 and 1945. Lieutenant Commander Günther Prien, one of the most popular officers of the German Navy, wore this jacket while commanding the submarine U-47 lost in 1941. The U-47 was one of the most successful German U-boat and is famous because it sunk many battleships, in particular the British HMS Royal Oak in 1939.

This garment has been made by using as reference the original M43 Field Jacket used between 1943 and 1965 by U.S. Army. In 1965 the latest pattern was created.

Heritage. Jacket with 2 flap pockets fastened by buttons and 2 slash pockets on the front. Military insignia and coulisse inside. Waterproof, garment Dyed. Detachable quilting.

N. 11 PEA COAT

This garment has been created using as reference the original Navy Pea-Coat borned in 1811 and used by UK and Dutch navy. The word “pij” is from the Dutch term “pij”, a common cloth used to produce coats. The buttons represent naval insignias. Since 1900 it has become the official uniform of U.S. navy.

This garment has been made using as reference the original US Army Overcoat, worn by US soldiers from 1939. This coat guaranteed to each soldier an important protection from the cold of the winter in the II WW.
